World Cup Day 14 Preview: Canada and South Korea Aim to Progress; Brazil Faces Scotland in Group C Clash

The 2026 World Cup group stage reaches its climax on Wednesday with the last matches for Groups A, B, and C. These games happen at the same time, setting up high-stakes encounters that will shape who advances to the knockout rounds.

Mexico has already secured a spot in the Round of 32, but several teams still fight for progression, including co-host Canada, which shares the top spot in Group B with Switzerland based on goal difference.

Switzerland vs. Canada

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. ET in Vancouver, broadcast on Fox. Canada leads Group B by goal difference over Switzerland. A win or draw means Canada will play their next match in Vancouver as group leaders. A loss could drop them to second place and force travel to Los Angeles for the knockout round. Switzerland started with a draw against Qatar and then defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Odds favor Switzerland (+130), while Canada sits at +240, and the draw is +200.

Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Qatar

Also at 3 p.m. ET, in Seattle on FS1, the two bottom teams in Group B meet. Both sides have yet to earn points after two matches, making this a must-win to stay alive. One team will be eliminated immediately, while the other could advance if results elsewhere go their way and they overcome goal difference.

Both squads face key absences due to red cards: Bosnia’s Tarik Muharemović and Qatar’s Homam El Amin and Assim Madibo won't play. Bosnia is favored (-270) compared to long-shot Qatar (+650), with the draw at +420.

Scotland vs. Brazil

The evening's 6 p.m. ET game in Miami, shown on Fox, pits Scotland against Brazil in a crucial Group C fixture. Scotland has never beaten Brazil in 10 meetings, with eight losses and two draws. Brazil leads Group C with four points and a +3 goal difference, followed closely by Scotland with three points.

Brazil is favored at -280, while Scotland and the draw are both at +410. Brazil might miss Raphinha due to injury, but Neymar could return after sitting out the first two matches with a calf issue.

Morocco vs. Haiti

Also at 6 p.m. ET, Morocco faces Haiti in Atlanta on FS1. Haiti is already out of the tournament, but Morocco aims to secure the top spot in Group C ahead of Brazil. Morocco impressed in 2022 by reaching the semifinals and currently holds a strong position after drawing with Brazil and beating Scotland.

Morocco is a heavy favorite at -600, with Haiti at +1600, and the draw at +600.

South Africa vs. South Korea

At 9 p.m. ET in Guadalupe, Mexico, on FS1, South Korea seeks to join co-host Mexico in advancing from Group A. South Africa has managed just one goal across two games with a draw and a loss. This match offers South Korea a prime chance to secure qualification with a win. Even a draw would keep them ahead in tiebreakers over Czechia, thanks to a head-to-head advantage.

South Korea is favored at -145, South Africa is +420, and the draw stands at +270.

Czechia vs. Mexico

Also at 9 p.m. ET in Mexico City on Fox, Czechia needs victory and a South Africa upset over South Korea to stay alive. Mexico, already through, hopes to finish group play undefeated on home soil. Czechia hasn’t advanced past the group stage since 1982, whereas Mexico boasts a strong record of moving on in eight of their last nine tournaments.

Mexico holds slight odds advantage at -110, with Czechia at +270, and the draw at +280.
