Joshua Zirkzee: Juventus' New Striker Target After Kolo Muani Deal Falls Through

Joshua Zirkzee has emerged as Juventus’ prime solution up front after their move for Randal Kolo Muani fell apart, with the Italian giants now pushing to take the Manchester United forward on loan with a £30 million option to buy.

The 25-year-old Dutchman finds himself on the fringes at Old Trafford, having started only five Premier League matches under Ruben Amorim and Michael Carrick last season. For a player signed for around £36.5m in 2024, his return of nine goals in 75 United appearances has left the club unconvinced he can lead their attack.

Juve pivot from Kolo Muani to Zirkzee

Those close to the talks say Zirkzee’s camp have responded positively to Juventus’ approach. United, for their part, are prepared to accept a loan with a £30m buy option, acknowledging that the figure reflects his current value after a stop-start spell in England.
