Juventus Pursues Kolo Muani and Sorloth for Attack Overhaul
Juventus are preparing for a complete reset in attack, and Randal Kolo Muani is back at the centre of their plans.
Multiple sources in Italy report that the French forward is open to returning to Turin this summer, with the Bianconeri locked in talks with Paris Saint-Germain while also pushing ahead for Alexander Sorloth.
This is not a cosmetic reshuffle. It is a teardown.
Dusan Vlahovic will walk away on a free when his contract expires on June 30, stripping Juventus of their marquee No. 9. Lois Openda and Jonathan David, signed with high expectations, failed to convince in their debut campaign in Turin. Their underwhelming seasons have pushed the club to listen to offers for both, opening the door to a radically different frontline.
Against that backdrop, Kolo Muani has emerged as a priority target.
Kolo Muani Talks: Price, Formula, and a Willing Player
Juventus have already reached an agreement with Sorloth over personal terms and are in ongoing negotiations with Atletico Madrid. Yet, according to Romeo Agresti of Sky Sport and Tuttosport, the Italian giants are working in parallel on a deal for Kolo Muani with PSG.
The numbers are tight. Tuttosport report that PSG want around €35 million, while Juventus are drawing a firm line at €30 million. That gap, small on paper, is shaping the structure of the deal.
PSG, aware that Kolo Muani’s contract runs until June 2028 and that he sits outside Luis Enrique’s plans, could soften. A loan with an obligation to buy — triggered by conditions that are almost certain to be met — is on the table. It would allow Juventus to spread the cost and PSG to secure a future sale for a player they are not prepared to renew.
For Kolo Muani, the choice looks simpler.
The forward hit 10 goals in 22 appearances for Juventus in the second half of the 2024-25 season, a sharp, efficient spell that quickly won him admirers in Turin. That impact, and the feeling of unfinished business at the Allianz Stadium, has reportedly made him eager to return, even without the lure of Champions League football in 2026-27.
He knows the stadium. He knows the shirt. He knows he can score there.
A New-Look Attack Taking Shape
As Juventus push to close the Sorloth deal with Atletico Madrid, the pursuit of Kolo Muani adds a second major piece to their attacking rebuild. The plan is clear: power and presence in Sorloth, dynamism and movement in Kolo Muani.
PSG’s stance will decide how quickly this can move. Juventus have their ceiling. PSG have their valuation. The player has made his preference known.
Now the question is simple: who bends first in a negotiation that could define the shape of Juventus’ forward line for years to come?
